My Work
From physical Product Design to digital...
Before I jumped into UX Design I worked for many years as a Fashion Designer!
My past life in fashion has taught me the importance of:
-
Research: Whether it was looking at the trends, the market, or past selling reports, understanding my target audience allowed me to meet their design needs.
-
Iterations: Sketching and prototyping may look very different in fashion design, but the process requires many iterations like UX.
-
Communication: In fashion, I needed to be able to explain my designs to stakeholders: my team, the buyers, the factories, etc.
-
Collaboration: Beyond my own team, I worked cross-functionally with other departments and factories overseas to ensure we were all working towards the same goal.
Fashion has equipped me with a unique set of skills that has proved to be valuable in UX design! Click the button to see my resume.
